Solidarity salons

  • National salons:

Affiche salon 2016A one-off sale is held every year in Paris with the proceeds going to international solidarity work. This Paris Salon gathers about 150 French as well as 30 European groups and a few people from the other Regions in a big sale.

The salon’s takings are used to fund international solidarity projects carried out by Emmaus International in the four continental regions.

  • Regional salons:

As well as the national salon, some French regions have set up their own Regional sales. All or some of the takings are transferred to Emmaus International for international solidarity programmes.

Solidarity sales

All of the Emmaus movement member groups must hold an international solidarity sale.

In order to ensure both the success of these sales and financial transparency, Emmaus International provides the groups with information about the initiatives requiring support before the sales are held. The groups are also informed about how funds were allocated. This enables them to successfully promote the solidarity sale in their region.
