Epinal Convention Centre will be the venue hosting Emmaus groups from seven countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland) who are coming to take part in regional solidarity, which is a core Emmaus value.
The takings from the big sale will be used to co-fund the construction of Emmaus Rzeszow’s community house in Poland, an initiative which is also being supported by international solidarity in 2010. The construction of the community house is part of a long-term project and will enable Emmaus Rzeszow to increase its residential capacity. The house will become a place in which those who need support and those who wish to provide it can meet and interact.
The 6,000m² exhibition centre will be dedicated to selling all types of goods and to sharing and interaction, as a number of stands, including Emmaus Europe’s own stand, will provide visitors and the Emmaus groups with information. There will also be an eating area at the sale.
