The meeting between the Emmaus stakeholders in Europe and MEPs, « Emmaus’ solidarity and peace-based socio-economic model in Europe: a realistic and feasible alternative », took place on November 26, 2014 in Strasbourg. Between an internal working meeting in the morning and the dialogue with MEPs during the afternoon at the European Parliament, it was a day of exchanges and reflections! We also had the opportunity to observe a vote from the visitor’s gallery in the chamber. To discover or to remember the day, a report is available:

This lobbying work is a long-time process with the objective to constantly ensure that people are aware. It is fueled by local and regional experiences and by the work and actions of the member groups. Indeed, the groups are the first witnesses of the distress and the failings of society. As we know you have an European vocation and are working with the interests of future generations in mind, we demonstrate through our work that a friendly, open and supportive society is possible. Together, let’s continue to highlight key ideas for further reflections and proposals! They will make a living for Emmaus’s struggles!
